NVIDIA is looking to hire a Senior Manager, Taiwan Export Compliance Program to develop and lead our export control program and reporting into our Director of Global Trade Compliance in the U.S. Based in Taiwan, this is a policy and operational role and you will be working directly with NVIDIA business unit leads and act as a liaison between the Global Trade and Operations teams, as well Legal, Sales, Engineering and Finance to support export compliance in Taiwan.NVIDIA has redefined modern computer graphics, high performance computing and artificial intelligence. The right candidate will have extensive experience working with the Taiwan Bureau of Foreign Trade, a good understanding of the semiconductor industry and knowledge of U.S. export controls.What you will be doing:A critical member of the Global Trade team and will be responsible for implementing policy, providing advice on Taiwanese trade requirements and coordinating activities involved in export/import compliance.Develop, implement and lead the NVIDIA Export Compliance Program and related export control processes in Taiwan.Work closely with NVIDIA’s Operations team to provide regulatory interpretation and support.Liaise with BOFT and other relevant government authorities and support NVIDIA’s business partners and vendors on export permits and verification reports.Serve as the primary point of contact for Taiwan-based contract manufacturers, distribution centers and customer service support related to export compliance.Have expertise in product classifications, including ECCNs and tariff codes and have a good understanding of US Export Regulations and parallel ECCNs.Experience with Singapore trade regulations a plus.Experience with SAP-GTS a plus.What we need to see:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; advanced degree a plus. 10+ years’ experience in managing compliance activities in a multi-national company, with a particular focus on Taiwan, including at least 5 years experience managing a team.Exceptional oral and written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills Strong collaboration and influence skills with proven ability to bring together multiple diverse stakeholders to achieve objectives required.Experience working with senior management and ability to work well with and relate to company personnel at all levels. Strong customer focus and support.Ability to apply and analyze government regulatory requirements in complex scenarios. Skilled at developing and leading high-performance teams.
