We are now looking for a Manager, SoC Architecture!NVIDIA is seeking an exceptional manager for our Tegra Architecture Team to drive the development of future high-performance, power-efficient SOC (System on Chip) processors to be used in 3D graphics, deep learning, HPC (High Performance Computing) and automotive markets. Our SoC architects excel at pushing the state of the art through our inventions and innovations, while making the best engineering trade-offs.What you will be doing:Manage and lead the architecture development for NVIDIA's SOCs that cater to a wide range of markets - computing, autonomous vehicles, game consoles, and embedded systems.Work with product leads and architecture leads to compile product requirements, prioritize and drive feasibility analysis to define project specs and Plan of Record for the team.Manage the SOC architecture development cycle from concept, Plan of Record, Architecture development and validation, and power/performance optimization.Work with a highly matrixed and efficient global development teamCoordinate with leads from architecture, design, verification, physical design, software, DFT, Security, functional safety, and platform teams.Provide technical leadership and career mentorship to the team.What we need to see:Masters (or higher degree) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields, with at least 10+ overall years of industry experience.5+ years of proven experience in project management while managing/leading architecture and/or design of SoCs or complex sub-systems – planning project work, driving execution, defining, and tracking KPIs.Broad understanding of SOC Architectures including CPU, GPU, Memory sub-systems, AI Accelerators, interconnects, I/O technologies, power management, performance measurement, SOC integration etc.Familiarity with end-to-end SOC development flow - micro-architecture techniques, modern validation/verification methodologies, physical design challenges, silicon validation and productization.Excellent analytical, written, and verbal interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.Ability to analyze and identify the critical issues/risks from a myriad of data and focus on resolving key issues that pose risk to the project.Management experience in a highly matrixed development environment.NVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
