The DRIVE OS Automotive Software team is looking for a Principal Security Architect to build and bring NVIDIA's autonomous vehicle platform out to the world. You will participate in a focused effort to build and productize ground-breaking solutions that will revolutionize the world of transportation and the growing field of self-driving cars. You will work with hardworking and dedicated multi-functional engineering development teams across various vehicle subsystems to integrate their work into our DRIVE OS platform, while achieving or exceeding all relevant NVIDIA and automotive standards & guidelines. You'll find the work is exciting, fun, and meaningful challenging!What you’ll be doing:Be involved in the definition, architectural analysis, design, and development of groundbreaking software stacks for self-driving cars with an opportunity to craft its futureAssist with defining and making sure software development processes meet security and coding standardsPerform security threat modeling of our automotive software platformDesign and make security architecture recommendations to satisfy self-driving automotive security guidelines and requirementsMentor teams and developers, promoting guidelines on best security practicesWhat we need to see:Demonstrated experience in real-time software development and securityFamiliarity with computer system architectures, SoC fundamentals (e.g., caches, buses, memory controllers, debug), OS architectures, and networking systems (e.g., ethernet, CAN, LIN)Excellent programming skills in C/C++, algorithms, data structures, and scripting languagesBackground with applied cryptography, threat modeling, and common attack vectorsExperience with ARM based SoC architectures and TrustZone implementationsEffective written and verbal communication skills, ability to work independently, and collaboratively in a cross-functional environmentRequires a BS degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or computer engineering12+ years with software design, development, and analysis5+ years of experience building and implementing secure software. Our unified computing architecture enables training deep neural networks in the data center on the NVIDIA DGX-1™, and then seamlessly runs them on NVIDIA DRIVE PX 2 inside the vehicle. Today, we are working with over 270 partners that are using our platform in the development of autonomous cars, trucks, shuttles and taxis.The base salary range is $268,000 - $414,000.
