We seek a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to build and strengthen NVIDIA’s Vulnerability Management team! The Senior Vulnerability Management Engineer will be responsible for leading the organization's vulnerability management program with a focus on integrating security into the software development lifecycle. This includes identifying, tracking, and remediating vulnerabilities in systems, as well as educating IT on security threats. The Senior Engineer will work closely with IT teams, development teams, security teams, and other collaborators to build a culture of security and continuous improvement.Working in Cyber Security Operations requires a passion for balancing capability and risk by balancing preventative controls against known exploits while remaining vigilant. We're on the front lines of handling vulnerabilities, making critical risk decisions on the inherent risk. You will work with a highly motivated team laser-focused on analyzing, prioritizing, developing, and delivering solutions built to stop adversaries and strengthen our security posture. Your research and work will ensure the stability and resiliency of our current technology products, emerging technology, and our vast application stack. Working in tandem with various internal teams both in Security and various Lines of Business partners, you would be leading the positive actions that will improve customer confidence.What You’ll Be Doing:Develop and implement innovative automation solutions for large-scale and highly sophisticated security-related activities.Lead a program directly contributing to the cybersecurity of our enterprise.Develop and maintain the security roadmap for a program or service. Provide strategic guidance to management on security issues.Identify vulnerabilities in systems using automated and manual testing tools.Lead discussions, leverage domain expertise, and collaborate with business units beyond IT, including senior leadership, to influence decision-making processes.Conduct security assessments and audits of ON-Prem/cloud-based systems to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation actions.Stay current with emerging threats and vulnerabilities and help develop processes to address them.Collaborate with stakeholders to establish and report on key performance indicators related to vulnerability management.What we need to see:Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field or equivalent experience8+ years of experience in vulnerability management or related field, with a focus on automationExperience with vulnerability scanning and penetration testing toolsHands-on experience with cloud security tools and technologies, such as AWS IAM, Azure ADExperience with security automation and orchestration tools, like Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins.Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOX, PCI)Familiarity with DevOps and agile development methodologiesExperience with secure coding practices and software security architectureStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWays To Stand Out From The Crowd:Familiarity with ISMS activities and industry compliance standards, such as ISO27001, SOC2, NIST, HIPAA, and PCI-DSSOne or more security certifications (CISSP, SSCP, CSSP, GISP, Security+, etc.)Previous experience in solving security challenges in a Hybrid cloud environment (workloads spread across on-premise datacenter and public cloud such as AWS)Familiarity with Cyber scanning tools including Tenable, Qualys, Tanium, Crowd Strike, and other tools an advantage.Experience in working with data sources via SQL, APIs, and Splunk will be highly beneficial.NVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
