Manager, Supply Chain

We are looking for a team Manager for Boards, Switch and Interconnect planning to join our Supply planning team. The planning team at Nvidia is responsible for defining the supply process flows, tools, vendor requirements and providing supply commits for boards, Adapters and Interconnect products. An individual in this role will drive a world class supply chain for our growing data center business, mentor and provide direction to employees, monitor work quality and coaching on performance. This individual should also apply a continuous improvement/growth mindset and use industry best practices to optimize overall performance.What you will be doing:Work with business leaders to develop weekly, monthly, and quarterly supply plans and provide guidance on supply shortfalls and/or excess inventory positionOwn business operations for one or more of our multi-billion-dollar business units. This entails managing boards build plans, working closely with business unit and demand planning team to align supply based on demand prioritiesLead, coach and develop a team of high caliber supply planning professionals capable of solving day to day operational issues and reach long term performance goalsEffectively distribute workload of team and monitor performance against established objectives and key resultsYou will work with the program managers & engineers to develop ramp plans for products from early-stage sampling to production. You will coordinate the transition plan of product revisions based on customer qualification schedules and supply availability.Manage supply plans across multiple CMs and Suppliers.Develop and utilize advanced analytics to understand supply/demand optimization alternatives and provide alternatives to business leadersPartner with cross-functional teams like materials, engineering, and capacity planning to understand constraints and identify process and system improvement opportunitiesIdentify and measure key performance indicatorsWhat We Need To See:8+ overall years of progressive experience with supply chain management fields and capacity planning5+ Years of managerial experienceA degree in industrial engineering, science, or business (or equivalent experience).Experience in ERP System (SAP preferably) along with a high proficiency in MS Office SoftwareExperience in a fast-paced production environment with various constraintsAbility to work and communicate with senior executive level staffAbility to deliver results in a multifaceted and matrix work environmentWays to stand Out from the crowd:Proactive and results driven with high attention to detail and be flexibleExcellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments concurrentlyExtensive experience on boards and servers in the datacenter spaceSelf-starter with a demeanor for growth and continuous learningCan find creative, out-of-the-box solutions and approaches to complex problemsUnderstand theoretical frameworks from APICS and likes to apply them to real-world problemsNVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
