We are now looking for an ATE Test Engineer. This newly created position is part of the chip operations team within NVIDIA. The operations team is responsible for New Product Introduction, testing and characterization of all our chip products. The position is based in our Bangalore ATE lab and will support specialized DFT and bench evaluation teams within the Bangalore design center.What you’ll be doing:This position requires strong ATE test engineering experience and expertise with 9300 testers from AdvantestWorking on debugging test program errors and editing the program to fix Solving hardware issues with the tester , understanding setup of power supply and high speed cards with our machinesConducting detailed DC characterization of all new chip products on the ATE, including working with DFT team and bench test teams to ensure bench tests are duplicated on ATE Supporting DFT team as they bring up production test patterns , supporting Bangalore bench teams as they work on correlation exercises between bench tested and ATE tested parts and supporting US hardware teams to verify socket and plunger performance for various levels of high power dissipating IC's.What we need to see:Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 3+ years ATE experienceExperience with 93000 ATE testers from AdvantestFamiliarity with chip testing hardware (sockets and temperature control equipment)Strong debug skills when issues arise during ATE testingHardware debug and simple repair skillsWays to stand out from the crowd:Prior experience with ATE based IO debug and characterizationUnderstanding of design for test methodology, especially for state of the art high speed IOExperience with ATE test hardwareSoftware skills with analyzing and reporting on large volumes of characterization data
