We are looking for a Senior Director of Credit and Collections to join our Treasury organization based out of our Santa Clara office. This key leader in finance will be responsible for managing credit exposures across our partners and ensuring timely payment of our order to cash process. In this role, you will collaborate with leaders in Sales, Operations, IT, Accounting and FP&A while maintaining the financial health of our organization. As a key finance leader, you will drive all aspects of our credit management and collections operations, collaborate with senior leaders at our customers as well as generate insightful reporting to d enable effective business decisions.What you’ll be doing:Develop and implement a comprehensive credit risk management strategy that includes evaluating the creditworthiness of current and prospective customers, setting appropriate credit limits, and communicating these recommendations.Lead the collections team, supervise collection activities, develop key operational metrics and identify areas for operational improvement to accelerate cash flow.Drive improvements in our cash forecasting by leverage technology in order provide real time cash flow reporting.Contract review to ensure the appropriate terms are included in our agreements with our partners.Ability to collaborate and drive multiple initiatives between various business teams including IT, FP&A and Sales and Operations in developing effective and efficient solution based outcomes.Continuously evaluate and optimize credit and collections processes to improve efficiency and accuracy with a focus on implementing automation to streamline workflows and reduce manual tasks.What we need to see:Bachelor’s degree from a leading university in Finance or Accounting (or equivalent experience).Proven experience of at least 10 years in credit management and collections, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.Strong understanding of fundamental financial analysis, accounting principles, and credit-related regulations.Proven ability to apply data-driven insights into creative solutions.Consistent track record of negotiating contracts with internal and external partners.Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills for this highly visible role within and outside the company.Excellent leadership and people management skills, with a track record of building and leading successful teams.Ways to stand out from the crowd:CFA or MBA is a plus.Outstanding problem solving, negotiation, analytical and sophisticated financial modeling skills.Deep understanding of credit fundamentals, collections operations and experience with predictive credit models.Shown success building a team that delivers results in a dynamic growth company and fast-paced environment.NVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
