Make the choice to join us today.We are now looking for a motivated Automotive Lead Design Engineer to use your creativity to work on the autonomous vehicle platform with the highly inventive and knowledgeable team.What you'll be doing:Design and integrate autonomous driving system using NVIDIA DRIVE platform, sensors (cameras, LIDAR, radar, GPS, IMU), controls, displays, microphones, antennae, etc.Develop and design platform power and distribution system.Develop electrical system architecture, and generate schematic and Bill of Material.Craft product design specifications.Collaborate with multi-functional teams, including system engineering, software engineering, mechanical/thermal engineering, operations, external vendors, and other partners to successfully deliver a reliable and robust platform from concept to prototype to deployments.Lead and support vehicle platform build activities with technicians and external vendors per project schedule.Ensure component selection and Bill of Material generation is maintained with 100% highest quality from design to production release.Lead debug and resolve issues reported during validation and deployments.What we need to see:You have a BS or MSEE or related/relevant engineering discipline or equivalent experience.7+ years of significant experience.Your deep understanding of how to build and integrate system with various technology components.Experience working with mechanical and thermal design engineers, and basic knowledge of mechanical, thermal, and assembly.You have knowledge and understanding of high speed interfaces.Shown ability to drive complete product design from marketing requirements to production release with daring schedules.Your can-do attitude and high energy with leadership and excellent interpersonal skills and possess ability to learn complex concepts in a fast pace environment.You have utmost passion towards attention to details on design and high focus on design quality and operation efficiency.Ways to stand out from the crowd:Proven automotive industry experiences with vehicle ECUs, CAN, LIN, Flexray, GMSL, FPDLink, power distribution, etc.Confirmed working experience in robotics system building.Deep understanding of system architecture, CPU/GPU/Memory/Storage, everything related to power and performance.Experience with Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Deep Learning or other Artificial Intelligence paradigms.Prior experience working in the following areas: Autonomous Vehicles, Robotics, Embedded system, Manufacturing (e.g prototype to contract manufacturing).We have some of the most forward-thinking and hardworking people in the world working with us.
