Come join the team and see how you can make a lasting impact on the world.NVDIA is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer Manager responsible for leading team of cable, connector, mechanical parts supplier quality engineers to develop and implement world class supplier quality programs for our AI centric datacenter, automotive and consumer products. This is a meaningful role that will closely work with core functional teams including Hardware Engineering, Product Engineering and Product Quality Engineering group. Additionally, this person will work with our CM and critical suppliers.What you'll be doing:Leading end-to-end component quality, working closely with suppliers and internal teams to assure new product readiness and ensure performance meets the key quality and reliability metrics.Coordinate component FA (Failure Analysis) activities, including investigating component failures mode and defining FA goals, reviewing and discussing RA (Root-cause Analysis), CA (Corrective Action) and lesson learned following 5-Why practices and summarizing and presenting FA results to the multi-functional teamTrack supplier’s quality Key Performance Indicators closely, develop a continuous improvement plan with supplier and track/reporting progressLead quality audits at supplier site as needed to ensure supplier quality practiceWhat we need to see:BS in mechanical engineering, physics, material science or equivalent experience10+ years of quality management experience in a complex, high-volume manufacturing environment4+ years of people manager experience leading engineer teamKnowledge of design, process and application of cables and connectors in high speed applicationsExperience with root cause analysis standard methodologiesProven understanding of data driven, statistical QC and QA problem solving methodologyStrong communication, multi-tasking and people skill.Experience with factory audits.
