The NVIDIA GPU Cloud Platform team is looking for a senior cloud security operations engineer to help with building and operating our next-gen AI infrastructure & cloud platforms. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security measures to protect our cloud infrastructure and applications. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks, enabling the organization to leverage cloud technologies securely.What you will be doing:Driving our Cloud Security Architecture: Design and implement secure cloud architectures, considering best practices for Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS) environments.Design Security Controls Implementation: Deploy and configure security controls, such as network segmentation, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, encryption, and multi-factor authentication, to safeguard cloud assets.Working on our Threat Detection and Incident Response: Develop and manage security monitoring and incident response capabilities. Detect and respond to security incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement remediation strategies.Vulnerability Management: Perform regular vulnerability assessments and security audits of cloud systems. Collaborate with development and operations teams to address identified vulnerabilities.Contribute to Cloud Security Monitoring: Monitor cloud environments for security events, anomalies, and potential threats using SIEM tools, intrusion detection systems, and threat intelligence feeds.Compliance and Regulatory Adherence: Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., CIS benchmarks, SOC2, NIST, GDPR, HIPAA) and internal policies. Collaborate with compliance teams to achieve and maintain necessary certifications and audits.Identity and Access Management: Design and maintain secure identity and access management (IAM) solutions for cloud resources. Implement least privilege access controls and enforce strong authentication mechanisms.Security Automation: Develop scripts and automation tools to streamline security tasks, such as provisioning and configuring secure cloud resources, monitoring, and incident response.Cloud Provider Expertise: Stay updated on the latest security features and services offered by leading cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, OIC, Google Cloud). Implement these features to enhance our cloud security posture.Collaboration and Training: Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security practices into the software development lifecycle. Provide guidance, training, and support to enhance security awareness across the organization.Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in cloud security processes and technologies. Propose and implement enhancements to strengthen the overall security posture.What We Need To SeeBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Master's degree is a plus.8+years of hands on experience with cloud security technologies, including cloud-native security controls, encryption, key management, and security monitoring.Hands on experience with Kubernetes in the hybrid cloud environmentsProficiency in scripting and automation using languages like Python, Golang, or Terraform.In-depth understanding of cloud service provider offerings and security best practices.Familiarity with DevSecOps principles and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.Ways to stand out from the crowd:Solid understanding of network security, identity and access management, and secure authentication protocols.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Strong communication skills to articulate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.Knowledge of risk assessment and threat modeling methodologies.Experience with security assessment tools, vulnerability scanners, and penetration testing techniques.NVIDIA is leading the way in groundbreaking developments in Artificial Intelligence, High-Performance Computing and Visualization.
