NVIDIA is looking for a Sr. Manager to lead our Global CEM Business Management team for the products across multiple business units. This position develops, directs, and influences the global sourcing strategies and EMS provider partners to deliver value in supply chain operations, improve supplier and team performance, and negotiate the best possible cost while decreasing overhead resource requirements in a rapidly growing business.This Supply Chain Manager will be a transformative leader that can develop and deliver enhanced global supply chain capability. You are a recognized leader with executive contacts throughout the EMS industry and have experience leading supply chain teams for a variety of different business sectors. As a SCM professional, you demonstrate strong analytical skills to guide decisions, are a highly collaborative and has technical experience operating within a global supply chain and extensive experience operating in Asia. You will have successfully transformed supply chain operations, led EMS engagements, and provided outstanding value to other operations and engineering teams. The role requires a collaborative individual that empowers their team. Someone that embraces clear and direct communication and feedback, in the spirit of ongoing business development. This leader is performance-focused and coaches a motivated organization and can work and lead effectively across organizational boundaries, successfully balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders both within and outside the organization. You will direct and manage the strategic sourcing function of EMS partners within Supply Chain Operations to achieve the company priorities and goals.What you’ll be doing:Business relationship manager for the EMS partners including strategies, footprint, business awards, supply chain performance, and cost management validated by leading cross-functional business reviews.Identifies strategic business leverage and leads EMS cost negotiations, quote administration, and benchmarking activities that align product costs to targets, manage transformation spend, negotiate NRE and reduce liabilities using visibility tools for Finance, Engineering, and Business Units.Align EMS resources and capacity ahead of the supply needs of multiple business units.Measures EMS performance against functional requirements and aligns functional service level requirements with efficient and effective EMS resources, systems, and processes. Drive and ensure timely and effective corrective actions.Enable early EMS engagement to capture valuable DFM input during NPI.Drive innovation across functions to make reliable and agile supply chains that support aggressive SOL (Speed of Light) project schedules.Concentrated effort during NPI to achieve industry-leading time-to-market targets by establishing supplier selection criteria, and alternative suppliers, qualifying new suppliers, running the RFQ process, and driving supplier selection in partnership with Engineering.What we need to see:BA / BS (Masters preferred) degree or equivalent experience.10+ overall years of supply chain and high-tech industry experience or related field.4+ years of Extensive Supply Chain Operations leadership experience building and engaging global ODM, JDM and EMS partners.Expertise in the leading multiple supply chain management functions.Exceptional negotiation and skills and in executive supplier management.Great communications and influencing skills working with engineering, finance, business units, and other supply chain functions.High degree of integrity, initiative, and attention to detail.NVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
