We are looking to hire a Principal Technical Program Manager to lead the operations manufacturing support for sophisticated Data Center AI accelerator boards and systems. You would be focused on revenue products that are either already in, or just transitioning to, mass production. Working as part of a highly collaborative team, you’ll manage key milestones, anticipate and solve problems and identify, own and drive improvements to help deliver each quarter’s manufacturing goals. The portfolio of data center products ranges from customer integrable HGX GPU accelerators, through modular DGX GPU/CPU solutions, to complete rack and L11 clusters. You will be helping to deliver the most sophisticated AI accelerators to a vast array of industries working in a high caliber team of Technical Program Managers.What you'll be doing:The sustaining Principal TPM role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and tracking manufacturing progress to the stated quarterly goals.Working with Engineering, Diagnostics and Factory teams you will also manage the delivery of product Firmware, test diagnostics upgrades, alternate components and design modifications with minimum production disruption.In collaboration with customer teams and engineering you'll co-ordinate customer qualifications for significant product changes.Devise and implement an NPI handover strategy for ramping new designs into mass production, in close consultation with NPI TPMs and Product Development Engineering teams.Throughout the quarter you’ll be using your strong communications skills to drive alignment between the factory and key stakeholders on production execution strategy and engineering work progressAs a strong leader, you’ll work to pull together and co-ordinate teams, materials and resources to proactively minimize production risks and to swiftly resolve day to day issues.Drive systemic process improvement, own technology issue resolution and develop risk mitigation strategies, working closely with the Platform Design Engineering teams.What we need to see:12+ years of experience in product management/production, preferably on server products or equally complex electronic systems.Leadership – ability to influence and drive the correct behaviors, negotiate your position and to make and defend solid data driven decisions.Excellent communication skills, ability to detail and clearly articulate the status and final project deliveries at all levels of the organization.Pragmatic problem-solving skills, comfortable with owning rapid informed decisions or escalating, as necessary.Fast issue resolution through out-of-the box thinking.Ability to thrive and adapt in a fast-paced environment.BS degree or equivalent experience in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred.Ways to stand out from the crowd:Project Management Professional Certification a plus.Technical depth in hardware and software development techniques.In-depth knowledge of factory production techniques and test strategies.Direct experience delivering complex products to Cloud based customers.NVIDIA is leading the way in groundbreaking developments in Artificial Intelligence, High-Performance Computing and Visualization.
