Product Quality Engineer

We are looking for Product Quality Engineer (PQE) in Hong Kong office. NVIDIA is leading the way into high growth areas of Autonomous Driving, High Performance Computing, Artificial Intelligence, and Computer Gaming.  NVIDIA is pushing the technology hard in all areas including the advanced package technology. NVIDIA’s Quality Team is looking for a Senior PQE that has a strong technical experience in the area of system data center, PCBA manufacturing/functional testing and customer complaint handling. You will be reporting to Senior Product Quality Manager.What you’ll be doing:Handling customer complaints and performing failure analysis on CPU and automotive chip productsDetermining containment actions and providing message to customers on various quality issuesWorking with cross-functional teams to drive for root cause and corrective actions to resolve the complaints from the customersSummarizing findings from analysis and driving quality improvementsParticipating in the meetings for material dispositions and change requestsCollecting updates from internal teams and suppliers to generate an internal or customer-facing 8D reportUtilizing data analysis tools for compiling ad-hoc or regular reports on product qualityProviding technical support for on-site verification activities and responding to technical questions from the customers on verification equipment setupWhat we need to see:B.Eng. degree or above (Electronics / Computer Engineering related)3+ years of experience in Application / Test fieldFamiliar with CPU architecture and technology and automotive infotainment system technologyExperienced in chip level failure analysis and debugBackground with using Advantest V93000 TesterFamiliar with system level testExperienced in test equipment bring upVerbal and written communication skills in English and MandarinExcellent problem solving skillsWays to stand out from the crowd:Knowledge of Board FA is a plusGood Knowledge of GPU/CPU product infrastructure and test methodologyStrong technical/debug skills in test equipment and test program troubleshooting
