As a member of NVIDIA, you will be an integral member of a collaborative team that defines and develops advanced computing solutions from feasibility through to prototype stage, working with multi-functional teams.What you'll be doing:Lead the design and engineering of complex accelerated and high performance computing system prototypes. This includes creating detailed design specifications, conducting engineering analysis, performing simulations, and using computer-aided design (CAD) tools to develop innovative and reliable solutions.Define the overall mechanical architecture and subsystem interfaces for a project. You will collaborate with other engineering teams to integrate mechanical designs with electrical, thermal, and industrial design aspects, ensuring a cohesive and efficient prototype development process.Optimize prototype designs to meet performance targets, cost constraints, and manufacturing requirements. You will seek opportunities for design innovation, considering new materials, technologies, or processes to enhance product functionality and competitiveness.Engage in research and development activities to explore emerging technologies, industry trends, and advancements in server/rack/row layouts. This involves staying up-to-date with the latest research, attending conferences, and contributing to intellectual property development through technical publications or patent filings.What we need to see:BSME or equivalent experience12+ years of proven experience.Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to strive in a cross-disciplinary environment.Expert-level proficiency with CAD software such as Creo.Strong technical depth in mechanical systems, server/rack/row designs, and data centers.Long track record of success developing data center technologies.Ability to innovate and rapidly deliver innovative solutions in a fast-moving environment.Ways to stand out from the crowd:Be a self-starter with good problem-solving skills.Possess a "can-do" attitude, with the ability and desire to dig deep into issues and fix them.Drive innovation and be adaptable to change.Nvidia is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
