NVIDIA's Networking Software group is rapidly growing, and we are hiring Senior software engineers for the InfiniBand Switch Operating System team.As a team member, you will take part in developing the next generation Network Operating System using advanced techniques. You will gain unique knowledge of Networking operating systems infrastructures and how large-scale networks are constructed. Teams utilize the latest software engineering methodologies and tools in an agile fashion to release on time. Are you ready for this challenge?What you’ll be doing:Research, prototype, develop and optimize user space applications and libraries as part of Nvidia network switch Operating System.Take ownership for features delivery from design up to deployment in the field.Assist customers in integrating our software solutions into their products.What we need to see:B.S. degree or equivalent experience in Engineering/Computer Science/related field.5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer or Technical Lead.Proficient knowledge and experience in C/C++. Experience in Operating System concepts like memory management, user-space vs kernel space, mutual exclusion, multi-threading and experience with Linux distributions.Strong design, coding, analytical, debugging and problem-solving skills. Ability to lead feature development, take full ownership of tasks from A-Z and deliver independently with minimum supervision. An excellent teammate with multi-tasking ability and good social skills.Ways to stand out of a crowd: Knowledge in Networking protocols.Contributions to Open Source projects.NVIDIA is widely considered to be one of world’s most desirable employers.
