NVIDIA’s Quality Team is looking for a Senior PQE that has strong technical experience in semiconductor devices, perform failure analysis on GPU/CPU chips and provide solutions/ recommendations to improve the quality and reliability and prevent future failures. Your hands-on failure analytical skills and strong quality mindset are essential as you will be working to drive GPU/CPU quality improvement initiatives and programs.What you’ll be doing:Detailed failure analysis, identifying root-cause of customer reported issues – Perform functional testing at system and ATE, use various chip FA techniques such as Curve Trace, Infrared, CSAM, Thermal Imaging…to locate physical defects.Prepare and present failure analysis reports, communicate the results and findings to the internal and external teams.Apply knowledge of chip design, fabrication and testing to recommend necessary actions for continuous quality improvement.Continuously apply sophisticated analysis tools and methodology.Share lessons-learn from previous field quality issues; give early input via DFMEA to ensure known quality, reliability, manufacturing issues are identified, and risks are mitigated.Assist in generating 8D failure analysis reports, conduct field failure rate monitoring, verify/characterize corrective actions’ effectiveness.What we need to see:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering or related fields (or equivalent experience).3+ years of hands-on experience in chip level testing/FAKnowledge of semiconductor device physics, fabrication processes, and testing methods.Proficiency in using various chip level failure analysis tools and equipment.Good communication and documentation skills.The technical background of board/system level testing is a plus.Data analysis skills with Python, JMP or similar tools are a plus.With competitive salaries and a generous benefits package, we are widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers; we have some of the most forward-thinking and hardworking people in the world working for us and, due to unparalleled growth, best-in-class teams are rapidly growing.
