We're looking for an AV technician with experience in live streaming, video switching, audio mixing and vendor management for our high-profile events, including keynotes, executive addresses, company meetings, and more. While audio and streaming is the core focus, we'd like someone hard-working, with a proficiency in all fields of AV, and want to grow their skill sets.What you’ll be doing:Collaborate with external vendors and internal stakeholders, leadership, and production teams to understand audio visual requirements and build solutionsDesign, set up and operate AV setups, including audio systems, lighting, projection, and stage equipment to deliver extraordinary presentations and productionsApply knowledge of professional sound reinforcement techniques, digital mixing consoles, audio signal processing, and speaker placement to optimize sound qualityEnsure reliable operation of AV equipment throughout the duration of events, troubleshooting and resolving issues as they ariseAssist with the coordination and implementation of live broadcasts, including live streaming, camera switching, graphics integration, and audio mixingConduct regular maintenance and quality checks on equipment to guarantee efficient performance and minimize downtimeWhat we need to see: 5 years of proven experience working as an audio visual technician in live production and a minimum of high-school diploma (or equivalent experience)Technical knowledge in audio (Yamaha CL digital mixers, Shure ULXD wireless, Clearscom Helix and Freespeak intercom, etc…), video (Barco E2, Christie Spyder X80, and broadcast systems, such as Black Magic Atem video mixers, etc…) and lighting devices (Chamsys MQ70 consoles, Elation Lighting fixture) , streaming devices, LED video walls and processingFamiliarity with broadcast engineering and experience working with live broadcasts is highly desirableProficient understanding of current industry standards for audio visual technology and event productionNeed to be able to lift/move objects in excess of 40 lbs on a frequent basisPossess an active CA driver license (transportation of items to local events and have the ability to travel - domestically and internationally)Ways to stand out from the crowd: Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues quickly and effectivelyStrong organizational and time management skillsExcels under pressure in fast-paced environmentsOutstanding communication and social skills, to collaborate effectively with multiple teams and leadersA passion for staying up to date with emerging audio visual technologies and a continuous desire to learn and improveA proactive and self-motivated approach, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a teamThe base salary range is $118,400 - $230,000.
