The GPU / SoC Architecture Modeling & Verification Group’s primary role is to maximize the potential of all NVIDIA’s newest hardware products at the definition stage. The services we provide are used by GPU/SoC Arch as well as ASIC Verification and Software Teams. We build modeling tools that drive important tradeoff decisions, provide and support simulation platforms that empower our proactive Software teams, develop infrastructure for features and tools for chip verification, define validation and test plan development, and conduct analysis based on key metrics as we strive for improvement. You’ll be a dedicated Verification Architect providing leadership for the development and execution of all functional pre-silicon Validation Test Plans for the GPU.What you will be doing:You will define, create and drive the Validation Test Plan for each GPU product.Collaborate with team leaders and senior technologists across Architecture, ASIC verification, The Emulation Center, Chip Management and Infrastructure.Oversee the Plan’s development, determining tests to be included, doing sampling, debugging and tracking fixes with bug filing.Manage the project timeline, ensuring team alignment for a smooth progression.Monitor and anticipate resource requirements needed throughout the process.Continuously improve the planning and process flow by defining and tracking KPI’sResearch and apply AI tools to streamline and optimize the workflow.Guide the improvement of the simulation platform and the scale out of other resources to support future GPU architectures.Hands on programming to enhance/develop tests, bug fixes for the models, and scripting for regressions/report generation.What we need to see:Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.8+ years of relevant work experience or MS with 5+ years of experience or PhD with 2+ years of experienceDemonstrated experience working in an architecture validation/full chip verification environment.Strong problem solving and debugging skills.Proficient programming ability in C++, C and scripting languages (ie. Perl, Python, Go).Computer Architecture background with experience in modeling (System C & TLM preferred).Good understanding of build systems (CMAKE, make), toolchains (GCC, MSVC), and libraries (STL, BOOST). Familiarity with CI systems (ie.
