Make a choice, and join our diverse team today!Working with the Silicon Solutions Engineering Team at NVIDIA, you will be responsible for productizing NVIDIA's chips into groundbreaking consumer, professional, server, mobile, and automotive solutions. The qualified candidate should be comfortable in a lab environment and demonstrate a passion for the creation, execution, and improvement of silicon validation plans.What you'll be doing:Participate in silicon bring-up & post-silicon validation of new silicon with the objective of driving it to mass production.Characterizing pre-production silicon fabricated using groundbreaking processes for speed, performance, power, yield, and quality.Understanding silicon behavior across PVT conditions and drawing correlations to craftCrafting tools to automate characterization, data collection, test case execution, and results analysis.Developing methodologies to characterize silicon features, correlate silicon behavior with simulations, and provide design feedback for future improvement.You will collaborate with the best minds in NVIDIA across various teams (System Architecture, PDE, Application Engineering, Product Manager, Sales, and Operations) in a sophisticated, creative work environment to bring industry-defining products to market.What we need to see:BS or MS in EE, CE, or Systems Engineering or equivalent experience.5+ years proven track record in a related hardware engineering position.Previous experience with silicon bring-up, frequency, power characterization, Tester to System correlation, and lab tools (oscilloscopes, multimeters, DAQ).Familiarity with product binning methods and performance/power optimization techniques.Background with Perl, C/C++, and Python. Exposure to Windows, Linux, and Android OS environments. Scripting experience is a plus.Exposure to digital design, circuit analysis, computer architecture, BIOS, drivers, and software applications.Ways to stand out from the crowd:Background with statistical methods and tools for data analysisFamiliarity with substrate and power supply noise analysis and mitigationNVIDIA is widely considered one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
