The selected individual will work closely with various teams, share strategies with executives, and guarantee that our enterprise solutions maintain top-tier standards. Cultural fit is a must, as you will need to be self-motivated, a critical thinker, data-driven, and impact-focused, with a focus on delivering outstanding user experience!What you'll be doing:Technical Leadership: Drive the vision and strategy for our enterprise client Devices systems, VDI, ensuring efficient performance, security, and user experience across Windows, Linux, and Mobile devices. Experience with rolling out secured device workflow, Observability, unifying security metrics, and User experience.Multi-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, design, and other engineering teams to align strategies and ensure cohesive product development, keeping Employee experience in mind.Communication: Communicate sophisticated technical information to both technical and non-technical collaborators in a clear and concise manner.Oversee the design, development, and optimization of our client platforms.Ensure platform scalability, security, and reliability.Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in platform engineering, ensuring our platforms remain competitive.Coordinate with the operations team to handle incidents, outages, and other emergencies promptly and effectively.Implement robust observability and telemetry tools and practices, allowing for proactive monitoring and actionable insights.Work with the operations team to analyze and interpret telemetry data, driving informed decisions and optimizations.What we need to see:BS or MS in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience10+ overall years of proven ability in systems & site reliability and technical operations leadership in the Client platform domain, including telemetry, observability, security8+ years of people management and team leadership experience, including headcount planning and developing strong and motivated teamsOperational experience at scale - crafting and operating highly available, scalable, and fault-tolerant systems using best-of-breed technologies like containers, APIs, Data platforms, & AI.Excellent written and verbal communication, able to collaborate and rally supportWidely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers, NVIDIA offers highly competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package.
