Accountant - GL and Reporting

And in the next few years, it will transform every industry.We encourage a highly motivated individual who can function in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment to join our GL reporting Team.What you’ll be doing:Perform month end closing process to fulfill group reporting requirements and best practice alignments;Lead statutory audits, maintain local ledgers and coordinate with external auditors to control audit timelines;Handle tax compliance tasks including VAT, withholding tax, corporate income tax and transfer pricing documentations;Maintain fixed asset ledgers to ensure accurate, complete and most updated asset records;Prepare cash flow forecasts, maintain reporting platform and support banking related matters;Support ad-hoc assignments, internal projects and drive improvement initiatives.What we need to see:Bachelor’s degree (or above) and major in accounting, taxation or finance;Minimum 2-year experience in CPA firm and 3 years+ in fast-paced industries;A self-motivated quick learner who can accommodate to volatile business environment and drive continuous improvements;Showing strong interests in emerging accounting standards, accounting frameworks and familiar with IFRS and US GAAP;A candidate who is resourceful and possesses excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills;Mastering dual languages (Chinese/English) and feeling confident in English speaking, reading and writing.Ways to stand out from the crowd:CPA qualification is a plus;SAP (or equivalent tier 1 ERP system) experience is a plus;Experiences in handling local books and records for Southeast Asia countries is a plus.We are looking for a forward-thinking, hardworking, and open-minded individual who is willing to learn from basics.
