NVIDIA is searching for an outstanding PhD student in the field of communications or computer science to join our diverse and interdisciplinary team as a summer intern to work at the intersection of the foundations of machine learning and wireless communication.What you’ll be doing:Apply your experience and knowledge in areas of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and wireless communicationCollaborate closely with the members of our group on a tailored research projectPresent your results within the companyWhat we need to see:Pursuing a PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics or related fieldsShown expertise in theory and practice of wireless communication, machine learning, and artificial intelligenceStrong background in research with publicationsAbility to communicate effectively in a collaborative environmentProgramming experience and proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks, such as TensorFlow and PyTorchWays to stand out from the crowd:Contributions to open-source projectsKnowledge of ray tracing for propagation modelingProof-of-concepts or demos showing the practical impact of your workFamiliarity with the future evolution of wireless communication, software defined RAN, as well as 6G edge use casesPatents and standards contributionsIndustry internshipsAwards or high rank in data competitions​This position offers you the opportunity to have real impact while working with some of the most creative and brilliant people in the world who are here at this dynamic, technology-focused company.
