Your responsibilities will include:Laboratory evaluation of electro-optic componentsLab setup and characterization of high-speed optical linksDrafting of laboratory measurement reportsDeveloping and testing algorithms for DSP in optical communications. Applying these algorithms in simulations and proof-of concept experiments. Transferring this technology to physical layer teams.Interacting with multi-functional teams, implementing new optical link concepts in a high-end photonics labAs a member of the Advanced Development team, you will work on end-to-end optical communications link design. You will collaborate with a team of engineers with multi-layered strengths, encompassing the entire NVIDIA computing platform!What we need to see:A MSc or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering or PhysicsExtensive familiarity with test and measurement equipment used in a high-speed laboratoryTrack record in development and implementation of DSP algorithms for optical linksPrior experience with technical report writing is a strong plusAt least 3+ years of experience in the fieldWidely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers, NVIDIA offers highly competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package.
