The Autonomous Vehicles Perception team is searching for a creative and experienced Sr. Technical Program Manager to help us bring NVIDIA's autonomous vehicle software out to the world. You will participate in a focused effort to develop and productize ground-breaking solutions that will redefine the world of transportation and the growing field of self-driving cars. You will work with hardworking and dedicated multi-functional engineering development teams across various vehicle subsystems to integrate their work into our Autonomous Driving DRIVE SW platform, while achieving or exceeding all relevant NVIDIA and automotive standards & guidelines. You'll find the work is exciting, fun, and meaningful. We have customers and competition.What you will be doing:Work with the Perception engineering team to come up with and handle project roadmaps, schedules, milestones and deliverables.Manage risks and resolve issues that affect project’s scope, schedule and quality.Partner with the team on executing in proper agile/scrum manner.Help the team to coordinate deliverables needed for achieving the required safety certification.Collaborate with the product, release and QA teams as part of the execution.Assist in improving process and procedures within the team. Help streamline day-to-day operations.Regularly communicate the program status and key issues to management and across stakeholder organization.As the focal point, schedule and lead status meetings, handle communication of progress/status within/across engineering teams, and supervise critical issuesLead and improve existing product development and software release processesWhat we need to see:Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience, with 10+ overall years experience in a similar or related role.7+ years recent Program/Project Management experience driving the planning and execution of software engineering projects, and releasing commercial products.Consistent track record of leading and successfully delivering medium to large organizational wide programs and projects.Proven ability to evaluate and drive adoption of new and improved process workflow.Consistent track record of being well organized, having excellent listening skills and being detail oriented; in an environment with shifting priorities and changing requirementsExperience with Agile tools and processes is a mustExpert proficiency with road-mapping tools, JIRA, and ConfluenceDetailed knowledge of software engineering principlesCertified Project Management Professional & Agile/Scrum Master certification is a plus.Ways to stand out from the crowd:Commercial SW product experience as a product owner.SW product experience in sophisticated cloud backbone and embedded device system, working with multimedia data.Commercial SW product experience in operational heavy product.Automotive background.With competitive salaries and a generous benefits package, NVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology industry's most desirable employers.
