Silicon and Board Test Engineer

NVIDIA Silicon Solutions team is seeking chip and board test engineers who will be supporting development and validation of our state of the art GPUs and SOCs. You will get to work hands on across various high speed IOs such as PCI-E Gen4, USB SS gen2, System level functional testing for performance and system stability. You will be part of a highly motivated, talented, global HW team and play a crucial role in delivering a high quality, state of the art products to serve various key marketsWhat you’ll be doing: As part of system validating team, you will be running various test cases on engineering systems that involve stress testing, functional testing, environmental testing which involves Windows, Linux and Android based stress testsCollect data from large number of systems, identify failures, classify failures based on symptoms and first level of debug.Preparing and filing test reports, bugs Assembly and testing of complex systems for stability Understand and execute PVT chip qual, test scripts, perform necessary hardware/software modifications on the same.Run functional tests for GPU and SoC interfaces like PCIe, USB, eMMC, DP, HDMI,  GPU and SoC bringup : Run chip screening, fusing, power rail checkouts, IO peripherals checkoutWhat we need to see:Diploma in electronics2+ years of experience in system testing Experience in silicon testing environment is preferred.You should be proficient in setting up hardware and platforms, perform HW/SW configurations and execute test casesStrong familiarity in executing tests under Linux environment. Must be able to do prelim debug analysisFamiliarity with Basic debug using tools like WinDBG, ADB etcStrong understanding of PC system components and various buses and interconnects, PCB components.
