Researchers around the world are using NVIDIA GPUs to power a revolution in Deep Learning and enabling breakthroughs in numerous areas.The Digital IP group is seeking an exceptional ASIC engineer to join the team. This team is dedicated to delivering comprehensive digital IPs, encompassing RAMs, ROMs, standard cells and specialized IPs. We closely collaborate with the front-end design team to comprehend the chip’s IP requirements, engage with the place-and-route and back-end teams to provide IP support, and actively partner with the advanced Technology Group and NV Research Team to conduct cutting-edge trials and internal workflow development.What you will be doing:Contribute to cutting-edge processor design in deep submicron technologies, focusing on standard cell library design and layout composition. Spearheading transistor-level circuit design concepts, performance analysis processes, and layout automation.Provide support for tool development using Perl/Python, offering creative insights to enhance existing tools and workflows, and creating new simulations for conducting evaluations related to timing, power, area, and reliability.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to address library cell issues and enhance our quality control measures for library work.Engage in continuous learning and stay updated with the latest advancements in semiconductor technologies, applying new knowledge to optimize design methodologies and contribute to the team’s innovative solutions.What we need to see:MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.2+ years of experience is preferred.We are looking for strong background in deep submicron process issues.Deep understanding of the design, layout composition and simulation verification of standard cell libraries. Deep understanding on generating timing/power/noise/OCV views of the standard cells, validation of data and QA process.Hands-on experience running SPICE simulation, and capability to adapt to new simulation tools.Strong proficiency in scripting language, such as, Perl, Tcl, Make, and automation methods/algorithms a certain plus.We are looking for excellent team-work, communication and analytical skills.
