To drive the growth of our RAPIDS Acceleration for Apache Spark offering in NVIDIA’s North and South America regions, we are now looking for a Senior Sales Specialist for NVIDIA AI Data Science.What You’ll Be Doing:You will be responsible for driving sales of our NVIDIA AI RAPIDS data science and analytics suite across North and South America.Define the RAPIDS growth strategies alongside a partner coverage model to support, and achieve stretch sales revenue targets and key objectives.A key element of NVIDIA’s sales growth strategy is to build a robust ecosystem of partners. You will build an ecosystem of ISVs, SIs, and other partners who will build solutions based on our NVIDIA AI portfolio.As a senior sales specialist, we would like to see proven experience and track record in building and progressing new enterprise Spark and Hadoop software product license/subscription revenues and achieving significant volume and scale.Drive execution of strategic plans in collaboration with virtual teamsBuild a robust opportunity pipeline, and establish long-term business relationships and strategic relevance with selected high-revenue/growth customers/partners.What We Need To See:Bachelor degree minimum from a leading University or equivalent experience. Master’s degree and/or MBA is desirable.10+ years of experience in software tech sales or sales, with 4+ years of Spark and/or Hadoop experience.Technical knowledge of Hadoop and SparkExperience operating in an overlay software product sales organization is desired.Possess a wide client contact base, deep vertical expertise, and knowledge of sales trends in Apache Spark and Hadoop.Track record of successfully growing revenue for new innovative technology software-based solutions.Confirmed ability to work effectively in a highly matrixed organization.Business knowledge of the software product markets.Technical knowledge of NVIDIA products and services.Knowledge of pricing strategies, channel economics, and negotiation tactics.Experience with leading and closing complex deal negotiations.Regular review of sales opportunities and account business plans and manage the monthly revenue forecast.Work with the Business Unit product management and engineering teams to ensure that we build the right products and solutions that align with our company roadmap.Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd:Providing inspirational thought leadership and driving organizational growth and change.Ability to present complex technical and marketing content to customers.Demonstrated knowledge in influencing business practices and products to align with customer needs.Years of experience qualifying new customers to enable revenue opportunities, product alignment, decision-makers, etc..Demonstrates a strong technical foundation to establish credibility with customers and/or internal partners.NVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
