Essential FunctionsBilling and InvoicingOversee the accurate and timely generation of customer invoices based on contract terms, subscription plans, or usage data. Verify the completeness and accuracy of invoice information, including billing rates, discounts, and taxes.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (such as sales, product development, customer success, and finance) to resolve any billing discrepancies or issues.Analyze customer billing schedules against contracts stored in CRM platform to ensure accuracy, identify data trends and develop solutions to minimize inaccuraciesAccounts Receivable ManagementMonitor and track customer accounts to ensure timely payment of invoices. Review and reconcile customer accounts regularly to identify and resolve any outstanding balances, disputes, or discrepancies.Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, collections activities, and payment history.Financial Reporting and AnalysisPrepare regular reports on accounts receivable aging, collections, and cash flow for management review. Analyze customer payment patterns and trends to identify potential risks or opportunities.Provide and implement recommendations for process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounts receivable function.Collection and Cash ApplicationCollaborate with customers and collections team to resolve disputes or billing inquiries, providing exceptional customer service.Apply customer payments accurately to the appropriate customer accounts and invoices.Compliance and DocumentationEnsure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Maintain proper documentation of customer contracts, invoices, and payment records.Collaborate with the cross functional team to support month-end close process, account reconciliations, audits and financial reporting requirements.Recommend and drive process enhancements by reviewing, creating, and updating standard operating procedures and other internal training resourcesQualificationsRequiredBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or other related area and 2+ years in accounts receivable experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienceStrong knowledge of accounting and accounts receivable processes and principles Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and compliance requirements Proficient in using accounting software, MS Office, specifically Excel, and other relevant tools Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills Well organized to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Customer-centric mindset with a focus on providing exceptional customer serviceAbility to work both independently and as a team member Strong written and verbal communication skills DesiredEnterprise accounting system experience, specifically NetSuiteEnterprise customer relationship management system experience, specifically SalesforcenCino retains the right to change or assign other duties to this position as business operations require.
