The ideal candidate will have strong skills in object-oriented programming and full-stack development, as well as experience working in agile scrum teams. You'll be part of a high-performing agile development team focused on problem-solving and innovative product development. You'll work with and support across functional scrum team, applying your knowledge in full-stack development to the design of best-in-class solutions for the banking and home lending market. ResponsibilitiesContribute to the development of the UI and Salesforce back-end of the nCino Bank Operating System Application, in particular to home lending productWork within Salesforce platform and nCino banking operating systemParticipate fully as a member of a Scrum development teamDemonstrate the ability to independently problem solve and research solutionsIndependently complete complex coding tasks as part of two-week sprint cyclesProvide careful code reviews and enforce code standards and development processes among team membersContribute to the development of cross-team, framework-level projectsUnderstand the business domain, data model, and design of the code baseMaintain a deep knowledge of the relevant technologies (languages, frameworks, etc.)Maintain a deep knowledge of the craft of coding and designGuide design sessions, ensuring the quality of the selected approach and driving understanding and ownership across teammatesKeep abreast of developments in the field and introduce new approaches and technologiesFacilitate communication and collaboration inside and outside your teamAdvise Product Owners on the complexity, risk, and time required to complete development projectsMentor team membersQualificationsRequired:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field or 5+ years’ experience or combination experience, education, & superior performanceSeasoned professional with a component-based client-side JavaScript framework, such as Angular or ReactSubstantial experience with web application developmentProven ability to create enterprise-scale application designs using proven industry patterns and best practicesStrong focus on quality and continuous improvement, with an understanding of when to make pragmatic technical compromisesMotivated worker with the ability to be productive in a fast-paced team environmentExcellent problem solving, decision-making and interpersonal skillsAbility to communicate and collaborate with others in a professional and respectful mannerCollaborative, adaptable and able to prioritize tasksPassionate about software developmentDesired:Exposure to Salesforce, particularly Lightning Web Components, Apex and managed packagesExperienced in Agile/SCRUM and TDD development methodologiesExposure to Git-based source controlExposure to developing within a Mac OS development environment If you thrive in a high-energy, entrepreneurial environment, we invite you to share your passion, ideas and excitement at nCino. nCino provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, protected veteran status, disability, genetics or other protected groups.
