DevOps Senior Network Engineer

If you already have a Candidate Account, please Sign-In before you apply.Job Description:This position is to work in the FinTech area of Broadcom.  Our division provides electronic payments and banking solutions in SaaS using AI/ML to determine risk.  This position is for a Senior Network Engineer to develop and maintain our enterprise business LAN/WAN environments, network security, and provide network capacity planning and general network management best practices. You will mentor a team of engineers to troubleshoot and optimize our networks for our users. In this role, you should have excellent problem-solving skills and thorough knowledge of network administration and architecture. ResponsibilitiesDesign and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN)Configure and install software, servers, routers, and other network devicesCreating and implementing network security measures.Monitor network performance and integrityResolve issues tiers of support have escalated by troubleshooting cloud and local infrastructureAutomate tasks and monitor their effectivenessMentor team members on technical issuesCreate, oversee and test security measures (e.g. access authentication and disaster recovery)Maintain complete technical documentationSuggest improvements to network performance, capacity, and scalabilityPerform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours.Participate in an on-call rotation.
