Fab Equipment Engineer

If you already have a Candidate Account, please Sign-In before you apply.Job Description:The main responsibilities will include:1) Handling Diffusion, Lithography, Implanter, Etching, CVD and other equipment in a Class 1K clean room environment.2) Install/Qualify new tool sets according to planned schedule to add capacity in a timely manner3) Apply systematic approach in root cause analysis to solve complex and critical equipment problems. Strong ownership to fix the root cause.4) Improving tool up-time availability and utilization efficiency.5) Identifying and pursuing potential opportunities for hardware capability enhancement and automation.6) Independently perform hands-on repair & troubleshooting on tools which ranges from new to obsoleted models.7) Leveraging on internal and external resources to drive aggressive continuous improvement projects.Qualifications and Attributes required:1) Bachelor's Degree or above in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical and Automation Engineering related fields.  Diploma holders with at least a continuous 5 years experience in an Engineer role is also considered.2) Good problem solving and communication skills as well as a willingness and the resourcefulness to learn.3) Able to wear safety PPE and work in a Class 1K clean room environment dealing with process gases and chemicals.4) Having detailed hands-on on Wafer Fab semiconductor equipment experiences is preferred.Broadcom is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.  We will consider qualified applicants without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, citizenship, disability status, medical condition, pregnancy, protected veteran status or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local law.  We will also consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records consistent with local law.If you are located outside USA, please be sure to fill out a home address as this will be used for future correspondence.
