Quality Assurance Engineer

We are looking for a QA/Software Test Engineer to join our team in Ann Arbor, MI. The QA/Software Test Engineer develops, executes test cases; reports and documents issues found during testing; designs, implements, and executes automated test scripts, analyzes failure points. If you have experience with backend or database testing and working with API’s then we would love to speak with you! About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishmentsBachelor’s degree in related field such as Computer ScienceAt least 2 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.At least 2 years working with databases such as MSSQL, MYSQL or Oracle.At least 2 years of experience with REST API testingAt least 2 years of experience with functional testing and integration testingAt least 2 years of experience with designing, implementing and executing automated tests and clearly documenting results.It would be great if you also had . . . Previous experience with: Selenium, Java, Cucumber, BDD, JIRA, SharePoint, Agile Methodologies. XML, HTML, JavaScript, or CSS skills.Experience with Linux and windows server environments.Ability to learn the software development lifecycle and QA methodology.Strong troubleshooting skills combined with the ability to break down complex issues. What will you be doing in this role? Develops, maintains, executes test cases using test management toolUses bug tracking and report generating toolsDesigns, implements & executes automated tests.Debugs and fixes existing automated scripts.
