Senior Solutions Analyst

As the Senior Solutions Analyst you will be in charge of identifying, analyzing and documenting the needs expressed by internal and external business stakeholders. You will act as a thought leader, help shaping the product roadmap toward building the most advanced collaboration and billing platform for IP professionals. Our aim for Connect platform is to double down on three key areas: To solidify the Connect value proposition by extending its scope and explore ways to further automate filing and prosecution processes. To expand Connect integration to new IP management systems To build new solutions in the area of billing and invoicing  About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments Bachelor’s degree level education in a relevant technical discipline (computer science, engineering, business)At least 5 years of relevant industry experience (Intellectual property and/or information technology) At least 2 years of working experience in Solution Analyst role or a similar position by experienceAt least 2 years of experience in process engineering and workflow design, high-level technical design, evidence-based requirements gathering and specification.  Minimum 2 in software development methodologies (design Thinking, agile methodologies) Fluency in both written and spoken English.  It would be great if you also had . . .  Knowledge in the intellectual property field is preferred but is not a mandatory requirement Knowledge of billing and invoicing processes is preferred but not a mandatory requirement Experience prototyping tools such as Draw.io, Balsamiq, Figma, etc.   What will you be doing in this role?  Serve as a thought leader in cross-functional problem-solving exercises by leveraging systems and business knowledge to guide the issue to resolution without compromising on quality, consistency, and user acceptance aspects of the solution Document client and business process requirements using various methods such as interviews, document analysis, workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, and task and workflow analysis Develops relationships with a client by being proactive, displays a thorough understanding of their business, and provides innovative business solutions while showing the difference between needs and wants Ability to coordinate with technical resources and subject matter experts to establish the end goal, which may include trade-offs between usability and performance  Assist end users with software issues and escalate where appropriate   Product you will be developing You will be working on the Connect solution, the platform that is transforming how participants in the IP industry communicate and transact. The Connect platform consists of two key parts: The Connect collaboration solution, offers an automated, standardized way to collaborate with foreign agents and a structured mechanism for docketing. Our vision is to offer our customers task standardization and automated functionality by integrating directly with their IP management system to increase productivity and reduce risk related to the management of IP assets.    The Connect billing solution, which addresses the filing and prosecution process from a procurement to payment perspective in order to provide predictability and fine grain cost control over the entire lifecycle of an IP asset while reducing the operating cost of handling and processing number of invoices and payments.  About the Team   You will be working within the product team composed of 7 experienced professionals with a passion for their work. The product team works within an extended team of 35, which includes the technology, quality assurance and delivery. The team is a valuable asset to the company, and they are sure to make a significant contribution in the years to come. They are a team of bright, talented, and dedicated professionals, and they are all excited to see what the future holds. Hours of Work  The expected core hours of engagement will be an 8-hour day starting at CEST 9:00 AM and ending at 5:00 PM. We work in a hybrid environment, and you will be expected to work from our Belgrade office 2-3 days a week. Willingness to occasionally travel.
