We are looking for a highly motivated Research Analyst to join our Centre for Innovation in Regulatory Science.Reporting directly to the Senior Manager (Research Analysis), the Research Analyst will provide analytical support to the Centre for Innovation in Regulatory Science (CIRS) Health technology assessment (HTA)/Market access activities, Regulatory and Reimbursement mapping project, focused survey and studies, and ad hoc consultancy projects. You will focus on assuring the accuracy and integrity of data collection procedures, datasets and conducting analyses to be included in presentations, reports, and other scientific vehicles.This is an amazing opportunity for someone with proven experience in interrogating and interpreting complex dataset.If you have the ability to analyse and present complex data, we would love to speak with you.About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments.Master’s degree in a life science required (e.g., medicine, biochemistry, pharmacology, pharmacy). Preferably a higher degree in a relevant subject area (eg. Health policy, Health Technology Assessment, Health economics).Relevant experience of 3+ years in biopharma, healthcare, market access is required. It would be great if you also had . . .Good understanding of pharmaceutical industry and life cycle of pharmaceutical products.Good knowledge of health technology assessment (HTA), health economics, market access or public health policyExperience in interrogating and interpreting complex datasets; ability to analyse complex data and to present this clearly; ability to apply basic statistical tests to data sets.Ability to turn data into actionable insights and convey the context of data.Experience with MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint);Previous experiences with Access and R programming preferred.What will you be doing in this role?To update, improve and maintain information for the public domain and agency-supplied, industry-supplied databases within HTA team.To produce accurate analyses of project datasets as defined by the required specifications. Responsibilities may include the description of logic and the design of data queries and calculations used to extract and analyse data for project reports and external presentations. These activities will be conducted under the direction of a senior CIRS staff member.To audit datasets and data analyses as required ensuring their continuity, accuracy and consistency.To identify and escalate project-related issues early to manager or senior staff in order to gain an early resolution. maintain confidentiality of client data.To understand and adhere to internal SOPs, and to propose and implement updates as necessary.To provide insight through data analysis and to contribute to high-quality project deliverables including reports, and presentations.To contribute to R&D briefings and scientific journal publications.To maintain professional links with project clients as directed by the manager, particularly regarding the collection and analysis of their data, including responding to ad hoc queries or requests, and to gain an understanding of their needs.To attend and contribute to internal and external stakeholder meetings, scientific conferences. Some travel will be required (approximately 2 days per month)About the TeamThe role reports to the Senior Manager, Research Analysis and is based in the London office at Liverpool Street. We are a team of 10 colleagues based in the UK.The Centre for Innovation in Regulatory Science (CIRS) is a neutral, independently managed UK-based subsidiary company, forming part of the Clarivate PLC. CIRS provides an international forum for industry, regulators, HTA and other healthcare stakeholders to meet, debate and develop regulatory and reimbursement policy through the innovative application of regulatory science and to facilitate access to medical products.
