We are currently looking for a Belgrade-based Senior Brand Specialist (Naming) to join our Brand Management team. This is an amazing opportunity to learn more about the Clarivate brand strategy and portfolio, and work on different (naming) projects. We are looking for an experienced candidate with relevant knowledge when it comes to naming. The person in this role will be reporting to the Senior Director of Brand Management. The role will work closely with marketing, legal, brand, web and global teams across the business. This position will suit someone with a strong work ethic and ability to work in a deadline-driven environment while managing multiple projects at the same time.About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments3+ years of experience with naming strategy, naming systems, brand architecture and nomenclature for mid-to-large companies.Bachelor’s degree (or above) in Communications, Marketing, Brand or similar.At least 1 year of experience working in B2B in-house or agency side.Proficient level of English (C1/C2).It would be great if you also had…Experience working with legal partners and other stakeholders on trademarking processes and brand protection.Good relationship management skills, with the ability to develop and maintain trusted links with key global colleagues in a short period of time.Excellent organizational skills to effectively plan resources and timescales, work flexibly, and cope with change.Structured way of thinking and working, attention to detail and consistency in deliverables.Ability to act with integrity, pursue continuous improvement and aim for greatness and customer delight in everything we do.What will you be doing in this role?Understanding the nuances and complexities of naming for global brands, particularly in B2B and understanding how to navigate to a solution; management of naming projects, including name development and renaming, logistics and driving discussions; developing rationales for names to be presented for products, services, internal programs, platforms and initiatives.Understanding of trademarking principles and partner directly with our legal team on IP protection; guiding clients through the naming process and providing counsel along the journey; articulate and support brand naming strategies.Management of global naming list and support of naming audits across the business; assistance in developing and managing naming guidelines and conventions; review materials for compliance and provide support, guidance and training; be a trusted partner and go-to person for questions related to naming.Working across a range of concurrent projects varying in type and scale; provide reporting and regular updates on projects and initiatives; presenting with confidence to mid- and senior-level audiences, selling in a recommendation, guiding decisions.Provide support to other brand governance and brand management initiatives and projects to achieve team and business goals.About the Team This role sits within our Brand Management team of professionals who protect, maintain and measure the Clarivate brand. The team is responsible for brand strategy, governance, migrations and naming and is an integral part of the wider Brand team. The Senior Brand Specialist reports to the Senior Director of Brand Management and is responsible for structuring and managing the project, as well as guiding project team members.
