Inbound Sales Representative

We are looking for an Inbound Sales Representative to join our Sales Development team in Alexandria, VA. This is an amazing opportunity to connect with external clients and share more about Clarivate's product offerings. The team consists of two global Sales Development Reps and report to the Senior Director of Commercial Transformation. If you have a passion for sales and have a hunter-mentality, we would love to speak with you.About You - experience, education, skills, and accomplishmentsBachelor's degree in a related fieldAt least 1-3 years of relevant work experience or internships related to the jobIt would be great if you also had…Experience working in a fast paced and collaborative environmentExperience using Salesforce for managing customersWhat will you be doing in this role?Assist internal teams with new sales opportunities based on anecdotal feedback given through conversations with leadsFollow up with leads via email and outbound telephone calls to create a sales opportunity for the sales teamCreate follow-up appointments for the commercial team to advance the customer to the next step in the sales processWork closely with the marketing, commercial, and customer support team to ensure a positive customer experienceUsing a proactive and persistent approach, explain the Clarivate product offering to prospects and customersAccurately maintain and develop prospect and client data into Salesforce CRMSupport the development, testing, and maintenance of the marketing database and the data/workflow integration with the Salesforce CRM platformAbout the TeamThe Sales Development Team collaborates closely with internal teams and external customers. ~60% of your time will be spent working with Marketing, Sales Reps, or other Business Development colleagues. ~40% of your time will be spent working with external customers in the corporate space, law firms, or the government market.Hours of WorkFull time, permanent positionThis is a hybrid position working 2-3 days a week in the Alexandria, VA officeThis is a global team and may require meetings outside of regular business hours as needed to accommodate the time zone differences#LI-Hybrid#LI-LPClarivate is an Equal Opportunity Employer Vets/Minorities/Women/Disabled
