#hybrid - BarcelonaWe are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our Platform Tools and Infrastructure team in Barcelona (Catalonia/Spain). This is an amazing opportunity to work on TECH. The team consists of 6 people and is reporting to the Platform Tools and Infrastructure Manager. We have a great skill set in Linux Systems Operations and we would love to speak with you if you have skills as DevOps provisioning services in the Cloud (AWS). About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments 4 -8 years of experience administrating complex systems and automating its deploymentExperience in Cloud (AWS or any Cloud provider)Technical skills to work with Linux/Unix, troubleshooting abilities, and a mindset focused on problem-solving.Good programming skills in python or any other language at scripting levelFamiliar using docker and KubernetesEducation (Bachelor's degree in computer science, mechanical engineering, or related degree or at least 4 years of equivalent relevant experience)It would be great if you also had . . . Ansible experienceExperience in deploying services using IaaC with tools like Terraform.What will you be doing in this role?Support tools for software delivery lifecycleFocus on operations to create a more reliable systems for developersDevelop high reliable and scalable systems/serviceKeep the platform and services stable, patched and upgradedResolve incidents on the service reported by customersHandle support escalation issues (on-call)Product you will be developingWe are a central Platform Team operating an integrated toolkit that supports software delivery lifecycle. We enable development and DevOps teams to deliver their work from source code to customers with sufficient autonomy.About the Team  The Platform Tools and Infrastructure (PTI) is organized in a flat structure with a manager and 7 people. The role is to provide Tools Support for Clarivate employees (DevOps/Programmers) with Engineering practices to solve common problems when running systems in production. The person needs to develop high reliable and scalable systems/services on AWS, resolve incidents reported by our users (internal DevOps/Developers) and handle support escalation issues (on-call).The team is located in 3 time zones: India, Europe and US.Hours of Work Each team works on their normal time zone hours.
