We are looking for a RWD Workflow Architect to join our Real World Data Team in North America and provide design, requirements, and architectural leadership to our team to ensure that the data pipes are highly scalable for data throughput, support disparate data sources, transformation, supports proactive QA and takes advantage of current technologies including AI. This reports to the VP of Data Strategy and Operations, and is an amazing opportunity to leverage your RWD expertise in working with and transforming a broad collection of real world patient data in supporting advanced patient journey analytics as well and live sciences products.About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishmentsBachelor’s degree computer science or related applied science disciplineMinimum of 12 years of total experience (any combination of engineering, RWD, healthcare data and claims processing)Excellent data modelling skills (relational and dimensional) for Cloud or Big Data applicationsExcellent coding skills in SQL or PythonExperience with AWS, AWS data sharing and workflow tools (Airflow, Talend, or similar technology)Hands on experience with ETL tools and distributed data processing frameworks (Hadoop, Spark, Hive) for standardization across data sourcesExperience with DB / Performance TuningUnderstanding of current B to B data exchange workflows and controlsIt would be great if you also have . . .Advanced degree in computer science or related applied science disciplineFamiliarity with visualizing data with Tableau, Business Objects, Quicksight, PowerBI and similar toolsExperience with ElasticSearch, Kafka, Redis, NOSQL database systemsExperience with EHR data processingKnowledge or understanding of Full Stack Web Development ArchitectureKnowledge of Java & ScalaWhat will you be doing in this role?
