We are looking for an Associate Content Editor to join our team in London.The Associate Content Editor is responsible for maintaining Pivot-RP and Research Professional’s database, which lists funding opportunities for the research community worldwide, through online research, data verification and standardisation, and information summarising for inclusion in online publications. About You – Experience, Education, Skills, and AccomplishmentsFluency in English and GermanExperience reading/writing of a foreign language. Previous online research experience.Previous experience using various computer software (training will be provided).Experience spotting spelling, grammatical and factual errors.It Would Be Great If You Also Had...A bachelor’s degree or above and/or some understanding of academia.Well-organised with excellent time-management skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines. Excellent researching and problem solving and troubleshooting skills, including the ability to analyse, compare, evaluate, reconcile, and order data. Publishing knowledge.What will you be doing in this role? Online researching, verifying, compiling, editing and formatting of funding opportunities for Pivot-RP and Research Professional. Translating funding opportunities information. Developing expertise of research funding landscapes across at least two territories. Proofreading. Contacting funders by email for information. Participating in team discussions and helping to develop and improve work processes. About the team Our international team comprises approximately 25 content editors and managers based in the UK and US, with each editor forming part of a smaller direct team of up to five individuals based in the same region.Embrace a dynamic and creative team culture that thrives on mutual support.
