We are looking for an Accountant to join our finance team.Reporting to the Senior Manager, Accounting (Financial Controller Sweden) you will work in the Group’s International Controllership function with support responsibilities for our Swedish entities as assigned. You will support the effective and timely delivery of the monthly close activities and support the associated reporting for the relevant business groups, assisting with the production and submission of local statutory and compliance requirements. Meeting the quarterly reporting requirements for the Clarivate Group.This role will provide support for the control of the balance sheets and ensure that the financial statements reflect local and international standards as well as complying with the Sarbanes Oxley recommendations.This is an amazing opportunity for someone with exceptional relationship building skills, as you will be working cross functionally with business finance, corporate functions, internal & external audit, and within the shared service centre community.About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / FinanceQualified accountantAt least 2 years of experience in accountingFluency in Swedish and EnglishIt would be great if you also had . . .Comprehensive knowledge of Swedish GAAP, IFRS and US GAAPKnowledge of End-to-end accounting processAdvanced Excel skillsPrior experience with Oracle NetSuite, OneStream and Workiva preferred.What will you be doing in this role?Support the delivery of the monthly close activities for each company under remit.Support the production of key supporting schedules and balance sheet and P&L.Support BlackLine reconciliations and other monthly activities.Support monthly tax compliance and filing.Support monthly variance analysis and explanations.Support the statutory audit process.Support internal and external auditors and regulatory agencies.Support the integration of acquired companies.Coordinate with centralized process teams.Support ad hoc projects and tasks.About the TeamThe role reports to the Senior Manager, Accounting and is based in the Stockholm region.
