The position is open in Development team for India location and will report to Senior Director-Technology from hierarchy perspective.About You (Skills & Qualification Required)Must have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or master’s degree (BE, ME, B Tech, M Tech, MCA, MS)Overall 14+ years of software engineering experience with 5+ years of experience as a Tech Lead or Software Development Manager.Minimum 8 years of experience with designing multi-tiered or Microservices ArchitectureMinimum 8 years of experience in backend development using Core JAVA, J2EE, MVC, Spring, Hibernate, Application/Web ServersMinimum 5+ years of experience on front end technologies like angular 14+, RXJS, loadsh, React, JQuery, TypeScriptGood working experience with GIT and understanding on any one of these: Jenkins, TeamCity, and Azure DevOpsIt would be great if you also have, Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)Experience with automation systems and data pipelinesFamiliarity with Agile and Scrum ceremoniesWorking on the Intellectual property domain.What will you be doing in this role? As a Manager , you will lead the Development teams focused on various products. Responsible for the management of Software engineering team and Tech leads including their deliverables, growth, and aspirations.Will be responsible for,Leading a team of 15-20 Software engineers & leaders and assisting in task deliveries, career progression & delivering as per organization’s manifestoWork closely with Technical leads on different projects to avoid dependency gaps.Mentoring the colleagues & provide the technical direction.Partnering with QA, DevOps, and technology and product stakeholders to ensure that product deliverables are made with quality and is given highest priority during each delivery cycleOverseeing and supporting creation and designing of new architectural frameworks and Proof of concepts for technologiesAbout the Team The existing team is spread across India with strong technical and analytical skills. We have a great skill set in Java, HTML5, Web API, Spring, Hibernate, Mongo DB and JavaScript, to name a few of the Tools and technologies.You would be part of Development Group responsible for delivering world class products and innovative solutions in the field of IPHours of WorkThe role and employment will be of fulltime with Clarivate. You will be working in IST time zone. 9 hours of work per day including 1-hour lunch break.
