We are looking for a Product Sales Manager to join our A&G Product Sales team in Beijing. This role is to drive new business sales growth and meet product sales goals for products, services, data and tools where relevant, into the Corporate sector. Sales growth and yearly quota will be achieved through cross selling new products into existing corporate clients as well as, and with some new logo acquisition. This is a new business hunting role only, no renewals. The role will report into the Academic & Government (A&G) Product Sales lead and will involve collaboration with the Academic Field Sales Account Mangers and other commercial stakeholders to implement and execute on product sales strategies.  About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments Minimum of 5 years sales experience in a consultative selling environment Prior experience of selling to corporate clients is essential.Proven track record of business development capabilitydeveloping accounts through proactive prospectingdeep discovery to understand customer workflow and content needsadept and cultivating strong customer relationships with senior stakeholdersconsistent achievement of commercial targets in a complex sales environmentExcellent organizational skills and ability to manage multi-stage process pipelineExcellent presentation, communication, negotiation and time management skillsBachelor’s Degree requiredLanguage Proficiency - Fluent in both English & Mandarin, presentation, and negotiation skillsIt would be great if you also had . . . Some of these include WOS, InCites, PQDT GLOBAL, Primo and many other products, data and bespoke services.Meet and exceed product sales targets for assigned product(s)/territoryProspect for, support and develop new business opportunities both independently and with Account ManagersBuild and develop a robust pipeline with a clear focus on increasing deal size and velocityUtilize domain expertise to conceive and position value-added solutions to increase deal sizeImplement and execute on ‘One Clarivate’ to drive maximum cross sell growthCultivate strong customer relationships creating trust and confidence with senior stakeholders to become a trusted advisor to our target customers  Work in alignment with Account Managers and other commercial sellers including Pre-Sales and Customer Success to contribute to territory planning and sales strategies to maximize Clarivate’s footprint within our customers  Diligent management of opportunities in C-Force ensuring all information is kept up to date at all times and relevant internal stakeholders are appraised of deal developmentsContribute to and produce reports as required, including outlining current and proposed activities, customer visits, and on pipeline activity, sales forecasts and closing timetablesWork with Sales Enablement, Marketing and other commercial teams to develop and execute sales campaigns and lead generation activitiesPro-actively acquire and develop relevant market, industry and product knowledge and skills to support commercial successAbout the Team  The team consists of 3 Product Sales Managers and is reporting to Director, Product Sales, based in Beijing.Hours of Work Flexible working time with hybrid working model, 2-3 days visiting customer or in office per week.At Clarivate, we are committed to providing equal employment opportunities for all persons with respect to hiring, compensation, promotion, training, and other terms, conditions, and privileges of employment.
