This will be an individual contributor role with plenty of opportunities to engage with various stakeholders (both internal and external). You will be responsible for various financial reporting and ensuring that our company follows the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) set forth by IASB. In addition to preparing and filing reports that include our financial statements and disclosures, you will be required to coordinate with external auditors to ensure accounting issues are resolved and meeting the statutory reporting deadlines.The candidate is also required to be independent and have a sound foundation in accounting concepts and possess sharp , analytical mind with an ability to get to the heart of an issue. Able to perform accounting research and provide preliminary accounting assessment and proposal on ad-hoc accounting issues.We are also looking for individual who is able to challenge status quo and propose improvement to the existing accounting and reporting process.Prepare financial reports for filing to Board of Directors and also local statutory bodies.Provide ample support and coordinate for the audit or review of financial statements, coordinating with external auditors is needed.Review draft and signed contracts and provide accounting assessment, as necessaryProvide analytical review on financial accounts and provide support to resolve accounting issuesProvide accounting guidance, especially on more complex and judgemental accounting issuesEnsure regulatory complianceMaintain confidentiality of our financial dataPre-Requisites :Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance requiredCertified public accountant (CPA) license strongly preferred7-8 years’ working experience in financial reporting and data analysis. Experience in working in large accounting firm and/or in public listed company is preferred;Professional accounting or financial management experience requiredFamiliarity with the IFRS and reporting standardsStrong presentation and communication skills, both oral and written, and able to communicate conciselyAble to work well under time pressure.Excellent analytical and communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel.Knowledge of SAP is a plusAre you game?
