We are also very proud of our "Freedom Fridays", an opportunity to get people away from the day to day to focus on anything from exploring innovative and collaborative ideas to learning a new skill.About the RoleThis role will be on a highly experienced, fully server side team that is dedicated to solving exciting engineering challenges on the most critical Workday services, improving the user experience of over 60+ million users around the world.As an experienced Java Software Development Engineer you will;Write and maintain solid, robust, efficient and maintainable code using frameworks and tools, including Java, Spring, Redis, Git, GradleWrite reliable unit, integration, and system level tests that will run on our CD pipelineCollaborate with multi-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver features in the core Workday productsBuild proof of concepts to help steer the development approach for featuresUnderstand and promote industry standard methodologyMentor and learn from other team members through pairing, code reviews, knowledge shares, hackathons, etc About YouWe are looking for a Software Development Engineer with excellent Java development skills, who also takes an architectural and platform approach.
