Projects globally per year (in excess of $2B capex).Job Summary:The Controls & Automation Delivery manager is responsible for ensuring that the DCOS and other systems are installed and commissioned true to design and within programme.Roles & ResponsibilitiesSupport Design Manager as SME to address/close-out any DCOS related issues/queriesOversee RIBA 5 review of DCOS design deliverablesCoordinate workshops between SI & other vendors to ensure integration schedules are correctReview P&IDs, Panel Drawings, SOO, etc.Arrange regular DCOS coordination meetings GC, SI, EOR & Cx to log and track open issues on Smartsheets action trackerSupport Construction Manager with coordination of DCOS dependencies and vendor managementArrange regular project progress meetings with GC & SI to ensure Smartsheet project tracker is accurate and identify any potential blockersOnboard engineers as contingent workers and assist with VPN accessLiaise with Eqx GEN team to facilitate switch and firewall configuration for DCOSLiaise with Eqx Server team to facilitate VM configuration for DCOSLiaise with Eqx Global Ops to facilitate setup of Guacamole for remote accessSupport Commissioning Manager with testing and commissioning activitiesCoordinate and oversee SFATReview test scripts related to PLC (e.g. CHW system)Be present, on site, for major testing (e.g CHW, HLT, IST, etc.) to provide additional layer of scrutiny of DCOS during system testing and SME support for Cx teamOversee the close-out of DCOS related items in IRLEngage with CxA & SI to ensure that DCOS Cx programme is correctCoordinate with Global Standards team throughout projectCommunicate any discrepancies in product templatesNotify team of any potential deviations from GDSValidate untested product templatesCommunicate any potential improvementsFeedback any derived templates produced during projectCoordinate with DCIM team to ensure on-time delivery of SmartviewCoordinate between project team, DCIM team & Maximo team to ensure that asset list is supplied and asset data creation takes placeCoordinate between DCIM & Cx teams to validate data once assets availableOversee DCIM Smartsheets action tracker and close-out any outstanding itemsGeneralSite attendance to liaise with DM, CM, CxM, GC & SISite attendance to conduct site walks to review project progress and qualitySite attendance to sit-in on testing with SI on occasionSupport SI with other vendor coordination throughout projectSupport all vendors with DCOS issues throughout projectSupport project team in troubleshooting of any DCOS related issues, technical or otherwiseOnboarding of SIEquinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability. If you are a qualified candidate and need assistance or an accommodation, please let us know by completing this form.Equinix is an Equal Employment Opportunity and, in the U.S., an Affirmative Action employer.
