In this position, you will play a pivotal role in influencing product roadmaps and lead software engineering teams to build a new digital twin platform for managing the data centers business. This product will be used for capacity and inventory management and thanks to advanced process automation and 3D visualization is going to help the company to grow even further.ResponsibilitiesSoftware Engineering & DevOpsBe a technical manager with deep experience in distributed systems and software platformsPartner with product owners and other market facing functions to understand market needs; quickly translating them into demonstrable softwareBe a technical manager who is hands on. This is a hands-on role which may include codingLead concept-2-deploy cycles to deliver high quality capabilities in a rapidly changing environmentProvide best in class technical customer supportPartner closely with Architects, Infrastructure & Operation teams to develop and deploy efficient solutionsBe responsible for strategic direction working closely with Product and stakeholdersDrive continuous improvements and efficiencies for software development, testing and supportFoster an innovation-oriented culture to identify new opportunities and enable the next genCommunicate and engage effectively with executive leadership and partner groupsPeople & Team ManagementHelp engineers develop their careers, assigning them to projects tailored to their skill levels, long-term skill development, personalities, and work stylesHire and mentor a diverse group of software engineersBuild and foster high performance engineering teamsQualificationsMS or equivalent with 10+ years of relevant industry experience architecting, building and operating customer facing software systems5+ years of demonstrated ability to recruit and manage technical teams, including performance management and managing engineers5+ years of technical experience in full product/platform lifecycle in an agile environment. 3+ years of experience building and managing agile teams5+ years of hands-on technical leadership in crafting and building scalable / full stack software systemsHands-on programming experience in Java and/or Node.js/NestJSExpertise in data modelling and event processing techniques. Experience with SQL and NoSQL technologies (Cassandra, MongoDB etc.)Experience with multiple architecture styles including SOA, API-first and micro-services architecturesDemonstrated experience engaging with partners and executivesExperience in architecting and building large scale systems using scale-out architecture that require high availability, performance, high scalability and multi-tenancyReal-world experience with continuous integration and delivery using public cloud such as AWS, Azure or GCP and container technologies such as Docker is requiredHands-on experience with Agile-scrum methodology and Test-driven developmentA sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s successCritical thinker and problem-solving skillsGood time-management skills
