This executive will have a broad set of stakeholders, understanding each GTM motion, the customer experience and help identify how we scale our digital platform. This executive will have deep GTM expertise, understanding the holistic customer lifecycle, including revenue, engagement, selling motions and optimization levers. ResponsibilitiesStrategic Planning & Development Partner with EVP, GTM leadership and BU/Functional Leadership Teams & cross functional peers to translate Equinix Enterprise Strategy into a GTM roadmap, set of initiatives/business cases to deliver value for Equinix’s customers Engage with company leaders to obtain buy-in for cross-functional projects, including planned outcomes, strategic narratives and linkages to enterprise strategyCreate storyboards and present to Company leaders on key initiativesAnalyze and provide insights into market extension opportunities (e.g., new services, solutions and business models)Lead the annual strategic planning process in conjunction with key stakeholdersInitiative Management Drive measurable business outcomesMake critical decision-making proposals and outline complex strategic initiatives across the businessDrive internal consulting projects focused on new markets/products, growth initiatives, transformation and profitability / efficiency / effectiveness improvementsMonitor strategy execution to align outcomes with strategic intent and benefit realizationCustomer Analysis and Strategic Positioning Drive recommendations on how to engage with strategic customers, based on the analysis of customer footprints and deployments with EquinixIndependent challenger, providing thought partnership to key stakeholders in relevant areas of expertiseResponsible for strategies to win new customers and grow existing customer baseHelp set business priorities based on emerging industry and market trendsMake recommendations to the executive team on business opportunities and proactively provide answers/insights to key business strategiesSpearhead opportunities for increased customer engagementQualificationsSubstantial experience in a sales technology (software/ SaaS) environment, ideally including Investment Banking, Top tier Management consulting, Corporate Finance or Corporate Development experienceBachelor's Degree or equivalent in relevant field preferredDemonstrated ability to think strategically and contribute to the creation of a strategic plan for a $5B+ business; track record of communicating the narrative and achieving buy-in from senior leadersSolid knowledge and connection within our industry or a related one, able to understand macro trendsStrong experience managing and influencing stakeholders across different functional groupsSubstantial GTM experience, preferably requiring leadership engagement and influence, owning a sales number at a high enough level to make real world trade-offsExperienced in attending sales/partner meetings at a senior level and able to contribute to the conversationAbility to provide thought leadership, think strategically and effectively communicate vision and influenceThe targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:• San Francisco, CA / Bay Area: $201,000 to $341,000• California (Non-SF/Bay Area), Connecticut, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Washington state: $197,000 to $335,000• Colorado, Nevada, Rhode Island: $182,000 to $310,000Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.This position may be offered in other locations.
