Your expertise in operational efficiency, cross-functional collaboration, and strategic thinking will be essential in driving the success of our joint platform solutions initiatives. Acts as a subject matter expert, contributing to the development of JPS strategy, leading programs, and solving highly complex problems.ResponsibilitiesOperational StrategyDevelop and execute the operational strategy for the Joint Platform Solutions Team, aligning it with the company's overall objectives and growth targetsIdentify and implement operational improvements, streamlining processes, and optimizing resource allocation to maximize efficiency and productivityCollaborate with stakeholders to define performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the team, ensuring regular monitoring and reportingProactively identifies and solves problems that impact the management and direction of the businessInforms and/or escalates matter for further governance review as needed; plays a key role in driving follow-through and actions with JPS Governance BoardCross-Functional CollaborationFoster strong relationships and collaborate closely with various internal teams, including sales, marketing, product management, and engineering, to ensure effective alignment and coordination in delivering joint platform solutionsFacilitate communication and knowledge sharing across teams, promoting a collaborative and cross-functional working environmentEstablish and continuously improve cross-functional operating models and orchestration constructions in a highly matrixed global organizationBusiness Planning and ExecutionEnsures the development and execution of business plans for joint platform solutions, including market analysis, customer segmentation, pricing strategies, and go-to-market plansDirects the successful execution of joint platform projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standardsMonitor and assess program risks, implementing mitigation strategies as needed to ensure successful program deliveryPerformance Tracking and ReportingEstablish metrics to evaluate the performance and impact of joint platform solutions, tracking progress against goals and targetsGenerate comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate program status, key findings, and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholdersAnalyze performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, providing actionable insights to guide decision-makingQualificationsBachelor's degree in business, operations management, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred10+ years of experience preferred Proven track record of success in business operational leadership roles or program management leadership roles within the technology industry, preferably in a global Fortune 500 companyStrong experience in driving cross-functional collaboration, with a demonstrated ability to align diverse stakeholders and drive collective successExceptional strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex business challenges into actionable plansSolid understanding of project management methodologies and tools, with a successful track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budgetExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersStrong leadership abilities, including the capacity to motivate and inspire a diverse team and cultivate a positive work environmentAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detailEquinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability. If you are a qualified candidate and need assistance or an accommodation, please let us know by completing this form.Equinix is an Equal Employment Opportunity and, in the U.S., an Affirmative Action employer.
