Owns co-ordination and consolidation of budget and forecast data, provide commitment tracking reporting to support data center teams, and ad hoc duties requiring skill and considerable judgement.ResponsibilitiesProcure to Pay ProcessSupports the team by creating Purchase Requisitions for the country/region expensesMonitors purchase order quality and provides KPI reporting in order to improve processWorks with requestors to make sure POs receipted correctly and timelyUpdates commitment values vs. POs &, working with Ops Finance/General Ledger, assesses what commitments have not been made vs. budgetEnsures compliance of Purchase Requests (5 W’s), all required contracts/legal approvals, accounting codes and competitive bidsContacts vendor for invoices where necessarySolves billing/invoice problems related to the country/region expensesBudget ManagementCoordinates and consolidates budget and forecast inputs from IBX Operations teams, undertakes ad hoc analysis to help drive forecast adjustmentsReportingResponsible for running and providing commitment tracking reporting to support the IBX teams, supporting Ops finance on month end reporting, variance commentary, and supporting the accrual processGenerate KPI reporting around Ops tasks completion and accuracy (such as receipting)Provides process improvement recommendationsBusiness RelationshipsKey touch point for Ops team on finance admin related queriesSupports vendors as key point of contact for complex query resolution management working closely with accounts payable teamWorks to support Ops finance on budget, forecast and month end deliverablesActs as the link between the business and finance to meet commitmentsFinancial Problem SolvingSolves problems that require a skilled specialist and uses considerable judgement in situations by considering possible solutionsInvestigates actual vs. forecast variancesAssists in month end accrual processProvides analysis and performs ad hoc duties as requiredProvides recommendations for process improvement/efficiency gainsQualifications6+ years of related experience preferredEquinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability. If you are a qualified candidate and need assistance or an accommodation, please let us know by completing this form.Equinix is an Equal Employment Opportunity and, in the U.S., an Affirmative Action employer. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.This position may be offered in other locations.
