As a Data Center Concierge, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and exceptional service delivery of our state-of-the-art data center facility. You will be responsible for: Managing the day-to-day interactions and support for clients.Welcoming visitors, and personnel within the data center.Ensuring a secure, efficient, and welcoming environment.Key Responsibilities:Client and Visitor Assistance:Greet clients, vendors, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and assisting clients with their needs.Follows standard procedure on answering incoming phone callOnsite Customer Liaison:May provide backup coverage to cross functional teams to support inventory ordering.Partners with teams in the tracking of customer shipments when on-site.Uses developing knowledge to discern customer satisfaction related issues and escalates appropriately.Site Support of Customer facing spaces in the data center:Maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance of the data center's reception and common areas.Maintains the conference room and tour schedules while customers are onsite.Coordinate and oversee supply deliveries for replenishment of suppliesAdministrative DutiesExperience generating purchase requisitions and coordinate with vendors for delivery and invoicing.Maintains positive business relationships with local vendors in support of customer’s administrative needs.Communication:Maintain effective communication channels with data center personnel, customers, and management to ensure seamless operations and a unified support approach.Support Team Event Planning:Act as a team lead for all pertinent eventsMay assist with special projects as assignedQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or relevant certification in a related field is a plus.Prior experience in customer service or facilities management is preferred.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally.Strong Administrative skills, knowledge and aptitude, with the ability to learn and understand data center infrastructure concepts.Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Equinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training. This position may be offered in other locations. Your recruiter can share more about the specific pay range for your preferred location during the hiring process. The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
